Completed 12/09. 10,000 sq. ft. custom home on 40 acres. Throughout the house, we brought our client’s visions to life by creating authentically-detailed themed rooms such as beach, safari, and lodge bathrooms, garden room with fountain, hobby room, pet room, a man-cave, a Savannah-style veranda overlooking private lake, theater, and game room. Our clients wanted a personalized entry medallion that subtly integrates their initials into the design. California Home Designs was able to capture their vision and they are now living their Dream Home’s reality.

This home is located in Sacramento, close to Sacramento State College. This project was a complete demolition, except for keeping the existing foundation and floor systems. This home has been remade into an impressive European style. The new home is over 2,900 square feet, and has 4 Bedrooms, Game room and a rear pool.

This home is located in the El Dorado Hills. Within this project’s Contemporary home style we remodeled over 800 square feet of unfinished basement. To gain access to the new space from the main living area, we added an internal half circle stairwell that unloads into the new Game room with fireplace. From the Game room there is easy access to the a new Bath, Bed and rear exterior Pool.

This home is located in Granite Bay. Within this project’s Ranch home style we added over 2500 square feet of conditioned, basement and patio spaces. These spaces included the Master Bed and Bathrooms, (2)- Bedroom suites with walk in closets, and a full size basement (using Insulated Concrete Forms).

This home is just above Lake Folsom’s, Brown’s Ravine marina and has a incredible Lake views. Within this project’s Modern Minimalistic home style we added over 3000 square feet of conditioned, remodeled and Pool spaces. These spaces included the Kitchen, Master Bed and Bath, Guest Bed and Bathrooms, and a beautiful infinity edge pool with BBQ and fireplace off the full lake viewing’s front side of the home.

This 1100sf 1950′s single-story 2 br-1 ba home located in a tree-lined East Sacramento neighborhood was transformed into a 2400sf, 2-story Craftsman bungalow. Fine craftsmanship and attention to detail make this a true Craftsman home inside and out. The existing kitchen, two bedrooms and living room were given a complete makeover; the two bedrooms are now a guest room and office. A new dining room, mud room, and laundry room were added to the first floor, creating a spacious floor plan. The pass-through window and bar counter between the kitchen and dining room will be perfect for entertaining guests in the dining room or enjoying a family barbecue. The new 2nd floor includes a spacious master suite with spa bath, a bonus room, and second bedroom with bath.
